Biography

Maha is a professional belly dancer living in Toronto, ON. She is a full time faculty member at Hannan's Bellydance Studio (http://www.hannandance.com), and student troupe director for the Sultanettes. Building an impressive resume, Maha has hundreds of performances under her belt in addition to a gold medal in the 2007 AQDO competition, a performance for the Turkish Ambassador, and Egyptian Super star Dina. Maha is greatly inspired by the great Egyptian dancers, in particular by Dina, Randa Kamal, Fifi Abdo, Aida Nour, and Mona Al Said. Maha is a dedicated to empowering women and helping them discover their inner artist through movement. Bellyfit's core philosophies fitted this pursuit and gave Maha another tool to make women feel connected to themselves, with others, and generally fabulous.
