Bellyfit® Strong Woman. Strong World.
In recent years Andrea has taken her personal passion for fitness to the next level by becoming a Can-Fit Pro certified group exercise instructor. Her existing aerobics students know her for her creative and fun ways of making any form of fitness exciting. She takes pride in keeping class content fresh, effective and fun. She has previous experience teaching Step, Cardio Kickbox, Muscle Conditioning, Hi Lo, and Circuit classes. Andreas desire to keep moving and stay healthy brought her into the dance world where she has spent the past two years studying Egyptian Belly Dance. Recently Andrea has taken her fitness experience and fused it into the fun and exciting world of dance by becoming a certified Bellyfit instructor. Andrea believes the Bellyfit system is a remarkable fitness platform for women to push traditional fitness boundaries and is excited to inspire others to benefit from what she deems the best fitness class ever!!!
topAndrea discovered Bellyfit two years ago when she and Alice crossed paths, literally and metaphorically, at Douglas Magazine’s 10 to Watch Awards. They have been shimmying their way down that path together ever since. Andrea obtained her certification as a BellyfitTM instructor in 2009, and has been working with Alice in a collaboration to liberate the rhythm of Bellyfit FlowTM.
Andrea simply couldn’t resist the powerful combination of all her many passions forging together in one fitness system that is Bellyfit FlowTM: women’s empowerment and self-love, the mosaic of cultural dance, creative movement, yoga, and DJ Rowan’s hypnotic grooves. She brings to her classes almost 20 years of dance study and performance, and a fervent enthusiasm for feminism- yes, she wears that label proudly, and has a degree in Women’s Studies to back it up! Andrea is also a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor, currently studying Blissology Yoga with Eoin Finn, and Raja Yoga with Ann-Kathrin Martins.
As a professional writer by day, and a Bellyfit FlowTM and yoga instructor by night, Andrea embraces the power of words, written and spoken, to influence change. She believes that women have so much to gain by releasing whatever weighs us down through movement- perhaps that is what the Women’s Movement was all about!

topOriginally from Ontario, Jenna has been involved in the health and wellness profession for 16 years. A graduate of George Brown College Fitness and Lifestyle Management and Psychology at York University, Jenna Howe´s emphasis is whole body regeneration, through personal fitness training, holistic medicine and dance. In 2002, Jenna was introduced to The Bowen Technique through a colleague, good friend and massage therapist. From that moment onward she knew that Bowen Therapy would be an integral part of her business. Although Jenna has been focused primarily on rehabilitation in various forms over the years, she has still never forgotten her love of dance. Dance can be therapeutic on many levels, and Jenna continues to incorporate this ancient form of movement in many of her fitness and health plans. While attending a conference in 2007, Jenna found Zumba and since then discovered Bellyfit and Groove Method. Jenna’s passion is to encourage all women in the importance of movement and dance for their overall health and wellbeing and that everybody can dance. Jenna is excited to share her passion for dance with the Victoria community and is currently training to become a Yoga Therapist and a Yoga Instructor.
