This week we’re venturing forthin into a bassy world of future music. Be ready to get educated on where roots and dub meet space aged cyborg whomp. Rhythmicon and Miss Bliss will be tag-teaming, exchanging their picks of dope and juicy music to move your body and intrigue your mind.
Last friday Cafe Bliss’s special aphrodisiac elixirs caused several dancers to be in a pile of af…fection as they fed each other chocolate macca smoothie with their fingers in somewhat suggestive ways. Consuming these magical drinks can cause unexpected results, so be prepared! Café Bliss will be back with more unique and energizing concoctions to keep you energized and juicy all night.

As a member of sub|division alongside Longshanks, Eames, KMT, Outsider and as a third of The Big Reds, Rhythmicon continues to represent Victoria’s contribution to bass culture. Playing alongside scene shaping artists such as such as Distance, Shackleton, Bassnectar & The Glitch Mob, producing a Beatport chart-topping remix (with support from Skream), and contending in the finals of the Hush DJ Competition, 2010 in itself was a powerful year for him. Although known as Victoria’s hard working ambassador of dubstep, Rhythmicon openly embraces the post-step continuum, most notably 2Step & UKFunky; he tends to get scientific in the mix and the results are amazing sets of polyrhythmic percussion & bass weight. With dedication and momentum you can expect much more from him in 2011.

MISS BLISS
Miss Bliss has been living and breathing music since conception. A selektor for the past ten years, and heavily involved in arts and culture around the province, her mandate is flow, rhythm and BASS. World bridger and dotz connector, BC’s dub ambassador has rocked the floors of Diversity Music Festival, Lasqueti Escape, Harvest Castles and Bass Bottoms 1 & 2. Miss Bliss’s tastes are moving her towards twostep, juke, footwork, bashment and UK funky, and dancehall. If you have never heard of those genres, you better get on the dancefloor to learn!
