Groove Method Certifications
This two-day certification allows instructors to take their teaching to the next level. This weekend provides participants with the information and tools needed to facilitate a GROOVE workout, or ideas on how to transform their current fitness classes to include more creative and motivating movements to increase participant engagement and enjoyment. The certification includes Groove workout demonstrations, group work, reflections on personal instructing practices, movement choreography and a practical component of teaching a GROOVE workout! The GROOVE Method is the ultimate enrichment tool – no matter what type of fitness class you teach!  8 CECS
GROOVEnrichments
The Groove Method also offers enrichments on how to modify and adapt the Groove workout for specific populations (Groovin’ with Kids, AthleteGroove, Groovin’ for Persons with Disabilities, Groovin’ with Older Adults, PreNatalGroove) and how to groove different themes (aqua, sensual dance, urban/hip-hop, belly dancing, Bollywood, disco, retro, etc) 4 CECS
Lectures and Instructor Workshops
The Groove Method offers professional development workshops (2 or 3 hours) on specific fitness topics, according to the specific needs of each group. Topics of past workshops have included Intuitive Teaching, The Language of Instruction – Motivating Participants through Positive Cueing, Creating Magic through Simple Movement. CECS vary

The GROOVE is a revolution in fitness in that it focuses on simple movements so that everyone feels successful and motivated to participate.  These dance-based fitness classes have a limited emphasis on choreography and a larger focus on movement exploration.
GROOVE workouts are high-energy and fun and the benefits of the workout include

ABOUT THE GROOVE METHOD

There is a shift happening in the fitness industry and The Groove Method has been the international leader not only in bringing this unique and creative workout to the general public, but also in helping instructors evolve their instructing practice through its certification program. 
The Groove Method was created by Misty Tripoli, International Presenter and Nike Elite Athlete, and co-founded by Mélanie Guertin, M.Ed..  The Groove Method Certification program has been in place since 2007 and the Groove Licensee program was launched in 2010 to provide Certified Groove Facilitators with resources for movement choreography, music, promotional material, continuing education and video tutorials.
International Leaders in the Evolution of Fitness, Health and Wellness
The Groove Method has over 130 Certified Groove Facilitators in North America, 50 in Europe and 90 in China.  In the next year, The Groove Method is expanding throughout Canada (in Montreal, Quebec, Calgary, Vancouver), the United States (Washington, New York City, Miami and Los Angeles), the Caribbean (Jamaica, Trinidad, Cuba),  Europe (Britain, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Turkey) and Australia/New Zealand.
