Miss Bliss has been living and breathing music since conception. A selektor for the past ten years, and heavily involved in arts and culture around the province, her mandate is flow, rhythm and BASS. World bridger and dotz connector, BC’s dub ambassador has rocked the floors Diversity New Music Festival, Lasqueti Escape, Harvest Castles and Bass Bottoms 1 & 2. One can expect to hear throughout a MissBliss DJ set multiple varieties of dub, dubstep, dancehall, reggae, grime, jump up gypsy, world fusion, 4 on the floor, downtempo loungey jazzy funky bits and more that can’t even be described, all with that Blissful signature style!

Striving to bring people together through fusion of cultures and sounds, this promoter/dj/producer is frequently found rocking dance floors alongside heavyweights such as Adham Shaikh, Gaudi, David Starfire, Liquid Stranger, and Jef Stott. With his broad range of influences and keen mixing skills, Rowan deftly navigates through meditative & inspiring downtempo/Hip Hop, glitchy acid breaks, and high energy ethnic techno. This summer Rowan’s dusk set at Lasqueti Escape galvanized some amazing energy on the dancefloor before Ganga Giri took the stage. Also making his debut at the Soundwave festival this summer, Rowan’s talent and love for music will continue to bring him in front of amazing, inspired and intentional dancefloors again and again.

::.. A 10 year veteran of the local intentional dance scene, Khan’s lush progressive sets are filled with tribal rhythms, beautiful melodies and mystical landscapes. He is a master of the live mix, seamlessly blending loops and layers, weaving epic soundscapes on the fly from the raw elements of his carefully selected tracks, while building the energy of the dance floor to its peak. His mission is to facilitate deep, transcendent journeys that bring dancers to a state of higher consciousness, awakening and deepening into the mystery of the dance, and to spread his conscious groove to as many souls as he can reach along the way. From peak sets to early morning transformations to glorious daytime throwdowns, Khan can bring life to any dance floor. Hailing from the beautiful city of Victoria on Canada’s westcoast and a summer festival favorite, Khan’s infectious spirit is sure to give rise to some serious magic on the dance floor and beyond.

Advance Tickets $15, available online and at Base Lounge.
Please bring a not too messy potluck dish, plates, cups and utensils. Contributions for the altar are welcome, as well as food bank donations. This is a family friendly, all ages event and kids are free with an adult. We look forward to celebrating this magical time of year with you!
