Hello Base Loungers!
There is SO much going on right now. I felt it prudent that we fill you in on all the amazing stuff happening! We've got a wide range of awesomeness going down. From devotional chanting and Bhakti Yoga, to a free outdoor 'rave' beside City Hall, to workshops on DJing + music production, to an awesome VEMF after-party at Base Lounge this Saturday night. Wow! If there's not something for everyone in that list, I don't know why you're part of the Base Lounge group! :)
First-- lets look at the imminent....
Saturday July 31st- Bellyfit Live is still on! - Alice is back, and DJ Rowan will be busting out a pre-VEMF DJ set on Saturday morning. After some lunch downtown, you can carry on the dancing at Centennial Square! (see VEMF below)
Monday August 2 Classes canceled - this is a holiday (BC Day)! Have a fun & safe holiday weekend!
"Now in its 7th year, VEMF is expected to attract 15,000+ people this BC Day long weekend.
A showcase of cutting edge DJ's, Producers, and live acts both locally and abroad; VEMF will take place at Centennial Square on Saturday July 31 and Sunday August 1. This all ages event is free to attend and features an exceptional artist lineup, VEMF Interactive seminars, a beer garde, and much more. We'll keep you rockin' till the early morning as VEMF offers multiple nightclub and after hours events both Sat & Sun night."
